Muslim violence, It's not just about foreign policy

Sam Harris had a great quote, something like 'Western liberals cannot
imagine that Muslims are truly motivated by religion because Western
liberals don't themselves have any idea what it feels like to be truly
motivated by religion.' And, thus Muslim violence is attributed to
foreign policy or economic status. Harris disassembled the latter point
as well. While foreign policy angst is surely some part of it, the
religious part is there too.
Here is today's evidence that Muslims (at least a big subset of them)
are completely brainwashed by religion:

While the pro-execution mob is a minority, the majority apparently
favors at least the jail time.
This doesn't mean that any particular military venture makes things
better, but it does tell me that liberals are myopic in their view of
Bush as the cause of all evil.
