Unintended consequences of the health care bill begin

Something as expensive and invasive as the "patient care act" will
inevitably be a political weapon and not just health care (if it ever
gets around to that).

The evidence starts to roll in:

1) An ironic one: Anti-abortion forces are using the law to prevent
private insurance companies from covering abortion [1].

2) Pelosi told an audience of wannabe musicians to quit their productive
jobs and become unemployed practicing their music, because taxpayers
would pay for their health care[2]. Wow, what a perfect example of the
poverty trap [3], how government welfare creates as much poverty as it
tries to alleviate.
